World Economic Forum Global Future Councils Dubai

Dr. Iravani will participate in the Meeting of the Global Future Councils Dubai, United Arab Emirates 11-12 November.

The World Economic Forum’s Global Future Councils are the world’s foremost interdisciplinary knowledge network dedicated to promoting innovative thinking to shape a sustainable and inclusive future for all. The network convenes more than 700 of the most relevant and knowledgeable thought leaders from academia, government, business, and civil society, grouped in expertise-based, thematic councils. It is an invitation-only community, and members are nominated for a one-year period.

"The Near East: Iran’s Interregional Dynamics” Princeton University

Dr. Iravani has been invited   by Sharmin and Bijan Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Iran and the Persian Gulf Studies at Princeton University

to share his perspectives as a speaker in an upcoming roundtable event entitled “The Near East: Iran’s Interregional Dynamics” on October 19, 2018.

He will talk about: “Changing the Dynamics of Arab-Iranian Conflict through Inter and Intra-Faith Engagements.”

CSIME IS A 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED IN 2010 TO CULTIVATE PEACE BY BRINGING TOGETHER PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT FAITHS, CULTURES AND BACKGROUNDS. IT STRIVES TO FAMILIARIZE THE MIDDLE EAST WITH THE WEST AND VICE VERSA, AND MINIMIZE MISUNDERSTANDINGS AND MISCONCEPTIONS THROUGH THE FOLLOWING METHODS:

DIALOGUE

Promoting inter-religious dialogue amongst religious communities form around the world and intra-religious dialogue amongst Muslims.

EDUCATION

Educating members of governmental institutions, domestically and abroad, about Islam and facilitating interdisciplinary studies in the Middle East and in the United States.

ACTIVITIES

Providing a wide variety of programs ranging from religion and language classes, conferences to prison outreach in order to promote better knowledge.
